Tando Adam Residents Demand Action Against Uncontrolled Use of Loudspeakers

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Residents of Tando Adam are raising their voices against the growing misuse of microphones and loudspeakers by street vendors, hawkers, and shopkeepers across the city. The excessive and unchecked noise has become a serious disturbance, especially in residential areas, hospitals, and places of worship.


According to citizens, the loud advertising through sound systems in narrow streets and localities is creating mental stress and discomfort. Patients in hospitals, the elderly, and those offering prayers in mosques are particularly affected. Worshippers have reported difficulty concentrating during prayers due to the constant background noise.


Health experts have also expressed concern, stating that prolonged exposure to high noise levels can lead to anxiety, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders. They urge authorities to address the issue promptly before it further impacts public health.


Citizens are now demanding that the district administration and law enforcement agencies impose strict regulations on the use of loudspeakers and take action against violators. They stress the need for immediate intervention to restore peace and protect the wellbeing of the community.
