Woman Protests Against Ex-Husband for Alleged Abuse and Threats

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A woman from the Muhammad Saleh Kori area of Tando Adam has staged a protest along with her children against her former husband, accusing him of physical abuse, threats, and illegal occupation of her residence and belongings.

Speaking at a press conference at the Tando Adam Press Club, Ms. Leelan Kori claimed that her ex-husband, Mehboob Kori, is a habitual drug user who subjected her and their children to repeated domestic violence. She further alleged that he attempted to force her into immoral activities, which ultimately led her to seek legal separation through the court.

Ms. Kori stated that following the divorce, Mehboob Kori, along with his brothers Shoukat and Dildar Kori, unlawfully took over her grandmother's house and seized her personal belongings. She also alleged that they have been issuing life threats and attempting to kidnap her and her children.

Fearing for her life and safety, Ms. Kori has appealed to the authorities for protection and justice. She urged law enforcement and human rights organizations to intervene and ensure her and her children's safety from further harm.
