Tando Adam observes Muharram with religious devotion as majalis, sabeels and processions begin
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) With the commencement of Muharram-ul-Haram, religious activities marking the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) have begun across Tando Adam, where majalis, sabeels, and arrangements for communal offerings are being carried out with deep reverence and devotion.
Flags and traditional religious emblems have been installed at major imambargahs, including the central Imambargah, Aza Khana Zahra, and Haji Shah Karbala, as the city enters the solemn atmosphere of mourning.
The series of ten-day majalis has commenced at Aza Khana Zahra (AS) and the Markazi Imambargah, with a large number of mourners attending. Religious scholars are addressing the gatherings, highlighting the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions, emphasizing themes of patience, sacrifice, and the triumph of truth over falsehood.
At Aza Khana Zahra (AS), Allama Wali Muhammad Chandio is delivering sermons, while Allama Mubashir Mehdi is addressing the gatherings at the Central Imambargah. Their speeches focus on the historic events of Karbala and the enduring message of justice and resilience.
Special sabeels have also been set up across different areas of the city, where cold drinks and food are being distributed among mourners and residents. Local youth and social volunteers are actively participating in the arrangements, ensuring smooth coordination of events.
Authorities and volunteers have completed arrangements regarding cleanliness, lighting, and security at imambargahs and surrounding areas. Administrative support has also been extended to ensure that all religious gatherings continue peacefully.
