Major Crackdown on Drug Dealers Four Key Suppliers Arrested, Narcotics, Gutka, and Liquor Seized
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) In a major anti-narcotics drive, Sanghar police launched a series of effective operations across the district under the directives of SSP Sanghar Ghulam Nabi Keerio, resulting in the arrest of several drug dealers and the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, illegal gutka, liquor, and weapons.
According to details, Jhol Police apprehended a well-known hashish dealer Bilal Shah, recovering 1,220 grams of hashish from his possession. Meanwhile, Taluka SHO Akhtar Hussain, along with his team, arrested Muhammad Akram Malik and seized 1,100 grams of hashish.
In another successful operation, Shahdadpur SHO Muhammad Aslam Bullo arrested Azhar Ali with 1,020 grams of hashish, and Sanghar SHO Gulzar Ali Mari detained Abdul Jabbar Wassan, recovering 510 grams of hashish from him.
In total, nearly four kilograms of hashish were recovered from the four major drug dealers.
In further actions conducted by police stations in Jhol, Khipro, Chotiyariyon, and Sinjhoro, at least 10 other drug peddlers including Dilawar Shar, Wahab Jatt, Naseer Bhatti, Rehmatullah, and Mitho Mallah were arrested. From these operations, police recovered 1,705 packets of hazardous and banned gutka and 67 liters of liquor.
Additionally, Tando Adam SHO Muhammad Sharif Khoso, with his team, arrested Abdul Rahim Behan, seizing a TT pistol and a suspicious motorcycle from his possession.
SSP Sanghar stated that the police are committed to enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking and such operations will continue across the district without any leniency.
