Shia Ulema Council Tando Adam Organizes Tahaffuz-e-Aza Conference


Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Tando Adam chapter, organized a significant Tahaffuz-e-Aza Conference at Aza Khana Zahra in connection with the upcoming month of Muharram-ul-Haram. The event also included a session of the Jafaria Council Sanghar. Prominent district, provincial, and central leaders of the council attended the conference, along with all organizational units from across the Sanghar district, who presented their performance reports.


Key participants included Allama Syed Asad Iqbal Zaidi, President of the Shia Ulema Council Sindh, Provincial Advisor Hussain Abbas Chughtai, Divisional President Shaheed Benazirabad Allama Taj Muhammad Inqilabi, District President Sanghar Molana Ramz Ali Rind, Tando Adam Taluka President Muhammad Hussain Chughtai and Muhammad Saleh Shar, among other senior scholars and council leaders.


Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized that the mourning rituals (Azadari) of Imam Hussain (A.S) are not just religious expressions but a spiritual and ideological responsibility. They stressed that safeguarding Azadari is the top priority of the council and any obstacles or conspiracies against it will be strongly resisted at every level.


The speakers urged the district administration to ensure full security for processions, majalis, and Imambargahs during Muharram and demanded that all arrangements be completed in a timely and efficient manner.


Speaking to the media afterward, Provincial President Allama Syed Asad Iqbal Zaidi commented on the Iran-Israel tensions, stating that while Pakistan has shown some support for Iran, it was not as strong as it should have been. He accused Israel of not only targeting Iran but aiming to undermine the Muslim world as a whole, first attacking Ghaza. He maintained that Iran is fully capable of defending itself against these aggressions.


The conference concluded with special prayers for the elevation of the martyrs of Karbala, the safety of the nation, and the protection of Azadari.
