Rising Incidents of Theft and Robbery in Tando Adam, Journalist’s House Burgled, Press Community Threatens Protest
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Incidents of theft, robbery, and street crime are on the rise in Tando Adam, raising serious concerns among citizens, while the police appear helpless in curbing criminal activities.
In a recent incident, unidentified thieves broke into the house of Munawar Ali Qureshi, a member of the Tando Adam Press Club and a journalist, located near Jatia Para Phatak within the jurisdiction of City Police Station. The culprits stole two mobile phones and Rs. 35,000 in cash before fleeing.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation, while the affected journalist has also provided the details and IMEI numbers of the stolen mobile phones to the authorities.
Expressing anger and concern over the incident, the journalist community has demanded immediate action from SSP Sanghar, DSP Tando Adam, and the SHO City Police Station. They urged law enforcement to arrest the culprits without delay and recover the stolen cash and mobile phones.
The journalists warned that if the perpetrators are not apprehended soon, protests will be launched across Sindh by the press community.
