Qatar Charity Extends Welfare Initiatives in Sanghar’s Remote Areas
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) District Manager of Qatar Charity, Sajad Khan, has said that the organization, in collaboration with the district administration and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sarah Javed, continues to implement various welfare projects aimed at improving living conditions in the district’s underdeveloped regions.
He said that Qatar Charity has installed deep solar pumps in several villages of Achhro Thar to provide clean drinking water, offered financial assistance to unemployed individuals under self-employment schemes, and constructed washrooms in mosques, girls’ schools, and hospitals.
Highlighting the difficult living conditions in Achhro Thar, Sajad Khan noted that the area faces severe challenges in access to clean water, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. To address these, the organization is arranging medical camps, providing hand pumps, and supplying other essential items to local residents.
He further stated that wheelchairs have been distributed among differently-abled persons identified by the district administration. Sajad Khan reaffirmed Qatar Charity’s commitment to continue supporting the community and assisting the district administration in emergency relief operations across Sanghar.
