Flag Hoisting Ceremony Marks 78th Independence Anniversary at Mono Technical College and Business & Commercial Institute
Saand (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Anniversary, Government Mono Technical College and Government Institute of Business & Commercial organized a grand and dignified flag-hoisting ceremony, attended by teachers, students, staff members, and prominent citizens of the city.
The national flag was hoisted by Professor Anwar Hussain Brohi, Principal of Mono Technical College, and Professor Ghulam Mustafa Saand, Principal of the Business & Commercial Institute. Following the flag hoisting, flower petals were showered, the national anthem was sung with great respect, and special prayers were offered for the security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.
In their addresses, the speakers highlighted the significance of independence, the sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan, and the importance of national unity and solidarity. Professor Anwar Hussain Brohi and Professor Ghulam Mustafa Sand emphasized that the younger generation must play a leading role in the country’s progress by focusing on education, hard work, and integrity, as the future of Pakistan lies in their hands.
Participants noted that such ceremonies not only highlight the importance of Independence Day but also promote patriotism, a spirit of sacrifice, and unity among the nation.
