The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with a special ceremony by the Jamhori Watan Party Karachi Division at North Karachi town.

Karachi: Defeating India in the war is a matter of national pride and has increased enthusiasm and zeal among the nation. The unity of the nation, the strength of the Pakistan Army, and the people's love for their homeland are the greatest strengths of the Pakistani armed forces. These thoughts were expressed by Irtafa Shah, President of Jamhoori Watan Party Karachi and Parliamentary Secretary, during a ceremony held on August 14 at North Karachi town on the occasion of the "78th Independence Day."

He said that he congratulated Field Marshal General Asim Muneer on winning the war against India. We are proud of the Pakistan Army of our beloved homeland, which always stands at the forefront in defending Pakistan. Once again, I assure complete solidarity with the Pakistan Army for the security and defence of the country. At the same time, I appeal to all Pakistanis to stand firmly with the institutions responsible for the defence of the homeland.

Irtafa Shah further said that August 14 is not only a day of independence but also a reminder of national spirit, unity, and sacrifices. Malak Saeed Hussain, General Secretary of PS-122, also praised the arrangements of the ceremony and the services of the Jamhori Watan Party Karachi, saying that on this blessed occasion of Independence Day, it is very important for the nation to unite and send a strong message for the protection of the homeland. He expressed heartfelt thanks to the participants.

At the end of the ceremony, Irtafa Shah, President of the Jamhori Watan Party Karachi and Parliamentary Secretary, cut a cake and expressed gratitude to the participants.
