Comprehensive Free Medical Facilities Available at Sanghar Civil Hospital: Dr. Aftab Azam Sirewal

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Civil Surgeon of Civil Hospital Sanghar, Dr. Aftab Azam Sirewal, has stated that the hospital is providing comprehensive and free medical services to the public. He mentioned that departments such as the maternity ward, kidney unit, hemophilia ward, OPD, eye ward, and laboratory are all fully functional and delivering effective healthcare services.

In addition, special nutrition programs for pregnant women and children are being implemented to ensure maternal and child health. Dr. Aftab Azam emphasized that all incoming patients are being treated free of cost under government healthcare provisions.

He urged residents of the district suffering from eye diseases to contact the hospital administration immediately. He further informed that Executive Director of SIOVE Hyderabad, Dr. Mir Khalid Iqbal Talpur, in collaboration with the Fred Hollows Foundation, is supporting Dr. Inayat Bhurgri in conducting free surgeries for cataract and glaucoma patients at the hospital.

Dr. Sirewal made a special appeal to the people of Achhro Thar and remote areas to take full advantage of these free eye treatments by contacting the hospital management.

Highlighting another major development, he said that the Sindh government has initiated work on a new, modern incineration plant, designed to safely dispose of medical waste. The plant includes a built-in treatment system that filters harmful gases before they are released into the atmosphere, thereby helping prevent air pollution.
