Israel Strikes Tehran, Iran Responds with Ballistic Missiles

Tehran / Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk) — In response to a recent Israeli attack on Tehran, Iran has launched a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting locations inside Israel.

Following the missile launch, air raid sirens were activated across northern and central Israel, and residents were instructed to seek shelter immediately. According to the Israeli military, the country’s advanced air defense systems are actively engaged in intercepting the incoming Iranian missiles.

In light of escalating tensions, the Israeli government has extended the state of emergency across the country until June 30.

Earlier, Israeli airstrikes reportedly targeted multiple strategic sites within Tehran. Military sources claim that 50 aircraft were involved in the operation, hitting over 170 Iranian military installations, including those linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the nation’s defense infrastructure.

According to reports from Arab media, explosions near the Iranian parliament building in central Tehran triggered fires in the surrounding area. Blasts were also reported near Taleghani Avenue and Vali Asr Square.

Furthermore, a drone strike—allegedly carried out by Israel—hit Tehran's police headquarters, leaving several individuals injured.
