Grand Majlis-e-Aza and Shab-e-Bedari in Tando Adam Mark 13th Safar, Thousands Attend
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) In commemoration of the martyrdom of Bibi Sakina (SA) on the 13th of Safar, a grand, nationwide Majlis-e-Aza and Shab-e-Bedari commenced in Tando Adam at 8 a.m. with the recitation of Hadees-e-Kisa and Marsiya Khwani, drawing thousands of mourners from across the country.
Extensive arrangements for Niaz and Sabeel were made, while under the supervision of Imran Karbalai, a medical camp and stalls for religious books and other items were set up. District and Taluka police implemented foolproof security measures to safeguard scholars and participants and to ensure the smooth conduct of the proceedings.
Speaking to the media, Majlis organiser Akbar Hussain Chughtai said the event holds global significance, attracting mourners from both within Pakistan and abroad. “We are servants of the Imam, and by fulfilling our duty, we prove ourselves to be true soldiers of the Imam’s caravan,” he stated. He added that volunteers and the administration had made complete arrangements for the comfort and security of mourners.
The Majlis featured addresses by renowned scholars, including Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi, Allama Amjad Raza Johri, Allama Syed Irshad Hussain Naqvi, Allama Syed Zameer Hussain Naqvi, Allama Muhammad Yaseen Qadri, and Allama Manzoor Hussain Solangi. At the time of filing this report, the Shab-e-Bedari was ongoing, with prominent Noha Khwans such as Hassan Sadiq, Syed Irfan Haider, Baqar Ali, Bakhtiar Ali, and Malik Ali Abbas scheduled to recite elegies.
