Constable Commits Suicide at Tando Adam Police Station

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A police constable allegedly took his own life inside the Tando Adam City Police Station during duty hours on Saturday.

Police said the body of Constable Faizan Wistro, deployed on sentry duty, was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He reportedly used his official rifle to end his life.

The body was shifted to the taluka hospital for post-mortem and later handed over to the family. Grief and mourning broke out when the body reached his residence.

According to SHO Imran Chandio, initial investigations revealed that the deceased was distressed over a failed love affair and the refusal of a marriage proposal. Messages retrieved from his mobile phone, sent to his brother, friends, and the girl’s family, suggested he was heartbroken before taking the extreme step. Police have registered the incident as a suicide
