DC Sanghar Chairs Key Meeting on Child Protection Authority

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Deputy Commissioner Sanghar, Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khawaja, presided over an important meeting of the District Coordination Committee for Child Protection Authority. The meeting was attended by Tariq Raheem Lakho, Incharge Child Protection Authority, District Health Officer Daulat Jamali, Kausar Parveen, Incharge Women Protection Cell, Additional Director Local Government Jamshed Qaimkhani, DSP Long Khan Shar, Deputy Director Social Welfare Muslim Farooq, officials from Special Education School, and other relevant departments.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of effective coordination and cooperation among all departments to ensure the protection of children’s rights and prevent their exploitation. He directed strict implementation of child protection laws, warning that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.

Ms. Kausar Parveen and Tariq Raheem Lakho briefed the participants on the measures taken to safeguard children’s rights and protection within the district.

Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khawaja instructed all officials to raise awareness about child protection laws through school assemblies, sessions, and seminars. He also stressed the need to curb early marriages and ensure the safety and well-being of children in the district.
