Shazia Mari Inaugurates Pediatric ICU and Hemophilia Ward at Sanghar Civil Hospital

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Central Information Secretary of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Member of National Assembly, Shazia Atta Mari, emphasized that providing quality healthcare to the public remains a top priority. She made these remarks while inaugurating the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Hemophilia Ward at the Sanghar Civil Hospital.

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khuwaja, PPP leaders Rajesh Kumar Hardasani, Rana Rashid, and other dignitaries. During the ceremony, Civil Surgeon Dr. Aftab Sirewal shared details of the newly established facilities.

He highlighted that the Pediatric ICU, established a few months ago, accommodates 10 children and is equipped with two incubators. Additionally, a specialized Hemophilia Ward has been set up to provide free screening and treatment for hemophilia patients, a condition that requires costly treatment. Dr. Sirewal revealed that 130 patients have already been treated in the Hemophilia Ward.

Shazia Atta Marri praised the efforts of the hospital administration and district authorities for their initiatives, stating that such projects have reduced referral cases and significantly improved healthcare access for the local population.

During her visit, she also toured the Dialysis Ward, where Dr. Saira briefed her on the treatment services being offered. Shazia Mari commended the hospital's management and expressed hope that these developments would enhance healthcare delivery in the region.
